Four Minutes (working title)

Inspired by the words of American composer John Cage “if something is boring after two minutes, try it for four” the film will consist of seventeen 4-minute shots depicting moments of contemporary life typically relegated to the mundane, moments we as modern people often “sleep” through. From Seoul to London, millions spend hours each day commuting, walking, working, waiting to get somewhere, to be something. Meditative and pondering, this film will ask us to reconsider our discriminatory relationship to these quiet and monotonous moments that comprise most of our lives but many deem forgettable.
